It is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of Steve Braddock.

"It is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of Steve Braddock. Steve was without doubt an outstanding leader and mentor to many successful peers in Sports turf management. Quite simply everyone respected Steve for the way he led research, was never afraid to try new things, take risks but always get outstanding results. Steve has left an indelible mark and an enduring legacy for this industry. Had Steve had a squad shirt number he would be Number 1 and the shirt will never be replaced.
"He achieved many accolades including being inducted into the GMA hall of Fame in 2020 joining Eddie Seward MBE. His service to Arsenal football club over decades and his ability to move forwards innovation and engage many in this sector always with knowledge, ability to challenge and stretch those lucky enough to witness his work ethic has lifted our industry to new heights. We send Steve’s family, friends, and colleagues our sincere condolences on behalf of everybody in the GMA family."
