Delivered by an industry expert, make a better informed decision, to determine the effectiveness of your maintenance. This course has been developed by the Institute of Groundsmanship in conjunction with The Racecourse Association Limited. (Food, drink & accommodation is provided).

Why should I participate in this course?
This Level 1 course provides groundsman with an introduction to the basic knowledge of racecourse maintenance. Develop, demonstrate, and apply the skills required to maintain, present and renovate the racing surface before, during and outside the racing season. This course is designed to be of equal benefit to a person working in a small team on a racecourse, as a person working as one of a larger team. On completion of this course you will also receive a Certificate of Attendance. This course is worth 10 CPD points / 10 CPD hours.
