“An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of the grounds maintenance team at Farnham Park Playing Fields located in Farnham Common, which is operated by South Bucks District Council. We are seeking a qualified Senior Groundsman to work 37 hours per week, on an annualised contract who will report to the Course Manager. The postholder will be part of a small team who are responsible for the upkeep of the playing fields, which includes 8 football and 2 rugby pitches, training areas, plus 4 purpose built baseball and softball fields. The successful candidate will also assist on set weekends with the maintenance and preparation of The South Buckinghamshire Golf Course.
The postholder must hold a IOG recognised grounds maintenance qualification, have experience of working at a playing field or school site with pitches, and be able to work flexible hours, including regular weekend working. Knowledge of softball and baseball pitches is not essential, as training will be given.
