The IOGs long term mission is to aid in achieving Quality Surfaces and Quality Services for all. In order to realise this goal we offer consultancy as a service to the Industry.
Would you like your surface facilities to be inspected by a leading industry professional? The IOG has a host of first class, experienced consultants who provide practical advice and recommendations to assist you in the management and maintenance of your grounds.
As the only membership organisation representing the groundscare industry, we work closely with the governing bodies of sport in the UK and Ireland to offer Consultancy Advice, to ensure that recognition of the profession and the need for quality standards at all levels is at the top of their agenda. Past clients of the IOG include the FA and Sport England where we have worked on the Greenspaces Programme and the CCDP programme for the ECB.
All of our trained consultants have a high level of practical experience in the grounds management sector.
This professional service is offered on a variety of surfaces including:
- Playing surfaces for sport, natural grass or synthetic
- Surfaces for play and other recreational activity
- Surfaces in parks, gardens, and other areas attended by grounds professionals and volunteers
On receipt of the completed enquiry form we will appoint the consultant who is best suited to your particular issue. The consultant will contact you directly to discuss in more detail and provide a quote. If you would like to proceed, a date and time will be arranged to visit your site and carry out the agreed work.
Following the site visit you will be provided with a full written report of the findings and recommendations. The consultant will be on hand should you have any queries regarding the outcome or recommended actions.
