7.30 pm ‘Cricket around the World’ by Chris Westbrook

Chris is the ECB pitch adviser for Hampshire, he is also heads a volunteer Groundsman team for Hursley Park Cricket Club and has won the best ground award for the Southern Electric Premier League for three out four year, 2004 he won the ‘Cricket World’ Private Club award.

He has played cricket and been a part-time groundsman most of his life and has tour in foreign climes which includes Argentina last year and a 3rd visit to in South Africa January 2007. During his travels he has collected a library-photographs and a wealth of knowledge from these countries visits grounds that he has visited and it well worth seeing how the other half of the world produce their wickets.

Light refreshment will be available.
