We organise a wide range of local and national events throughout the year, many of which are open to all, but members benefit from generous discounts, receive advanced notice and are given priority at popular events.
IOG SALTEX
Our exhibition, IOG SALTEX is the highlight of the groundscare events calendar, attracting exhibitors and buyers from around the world and ensuring our industry continues to thrive and evolve. IOG SALTEX is held annually at Windsor Racecourse in September.
IOG SALTEX welcomes visitors from across the world, entry is free of charge and it's even easier if you have pre-registered your intended visit. Look out for the new SALTEX webpage, due to be launched very soon where you can register for the 2013 event!
IOG Conference and IOG Industry Awards
The 2012 'Ahead of the Game' conference was held at York Racecourse on December 6th followed by the IOG Awards. To view the list of winners for the 2012 awards click here.
In 2009, we hosted the first IOG Industry Awards night at the Emirates Stadium London, which celebrated the very best in grounds maintenance and management. The awards recognise everyone involved in the industry, from those working at grass roots through to national stadia. In 2010 the IOG Industry Awards and Sports Turf Conference was held at Glamorgan Cricket Club in Wales and the 2011 event was held at the Reebok Stadium, Bolton.
IOG In Action
We also run an extensive programme of IOG in Action days. These one day seminars, which have been successfully run for 10 years, uniquely combine educational presentations with outdoor workshops and study tours. Always held at a venue of interest, these events are often over-subscribed so early booking is advised.
