It is the fourth time the Scottish mail order company has won in best in show award under its current ownership and the second time at Harrogate.
Owner Terry Hunt said: "Best in show means a lot to us, we have won it on a few occasions before but its always great to start a show with a big piece of silverware on the stand."
He said the show was "very busy," with a lot of customers replacing winter losses.
A total of 24 Premiers, 28 Golds, 23 Silver Gilts, 17 Silvers and 5 Bronzes were awarded at the show.
Taylors Bulbs won a premier award for their stand including 50 bowls of cut-flower daffodils, each stem selected from their fields around Holbeach Lincolnshire.
The company is represented by Johnny Walkers who has shown off the specialist daffodil division of the company for 25 years.
Walkers said: "Every year brings a fresh challenge and the cold nights have left frost spots on many blooms so although there is plenty of colour in the fields I can only use the perfect flowers. This has meant a lot of walking this year to find the number of blooms we needed."
Adam Taylor added: "We are immensely proud of the team who put the shows together and Johnny's daffodil expertise is second to none."
In three weeks time, the team from Taylors will be attending the Chelsea Flower Show where Walkers will also be showing for the 25th time.
