IOG SALTEX "Ahead of expectations" in exhibitor bookings

This year’s IOG SALTEX is on course to be THE turf care and open space management show of the year with 95 per cent of exhibition space already booked by almost 300 companies

“We’re ahead of expectations in terms of stand bookings,” says IOG SALTEX Sales Director Clare Johnson, “which is clearly a sign that the industry is wholeheartedly supporting this annual event for sound, commercial reasons - 77 per cent of visitors to last year’s show were involved in selecting, recommending or buying products and services.”

She continues: “In addition, we’re also experiencing encouraging visitor pre-registration (via www.iogsaltex.co.uk), which is an indication that visitors are increasingly using IOG SALTEX as the annual venue for all their turf maintenance and open space management needs.

“That’s no surprise when you consider the hundreds of products that will be on view – including many new product launches – as well as the programme of special features and attractions, and our ever-popular education programme.

“This continued support illustrates that the show continues to remain relevant in an ever-changing business landscape.”

IOG SALTEX 2011 www.iogsaltex.co.uk will be held on September 6-8 at Windsor Racecourse, Berks, and will embrace fine turf and sports surfaces, turf maintenance equipment, children’s outdoor play and safety surfacing, landscaping, contractors, commercial vehicles, outdoor leisure and facilities management, as well as software and security equipment. The show is attended by open space management professionals and contractors – from groundsmen and greenkeepers through to play officers, architects, designers and surveyors as well as local authority and outdoor leisure facility managers.
