Clubs enjoy Community Congress

Over 100 representatives from grassroots Rugby League clubs and leagues attended the Community Rugby League Congress which was held at the Galpharm Stadium on Saturday.

Delegates were welcomed by RFL Chief Executive Nigel Wood and enjoyed a variety of workshops delivered by expert presenters, including England Coach Steve McNamara, which were designed to prepare clubs for the new summer season.

RFL Director of Participation David Gent (Speaker at the most recent IOG conference), said: “It was fantastic to see so many clubs represented today and I hope that everyone who attended went away enthused for the start of the season.
